Things have been slow, and I have been reading a lot looking for issues
to bring up to my students- I thought I'd pass some discussion ideas
along here- I'm curious to know what other people think about the
studies/topics.
Interesting study in Nature recently about transgenic bt corn. The
pollen from the corn is toxic/lethal to Monarch butterflies.
The New England Journal of Medecine just published a studying indicating
a strong correlation between antibiotic fed chickens and increased
quinolone resistant bacterial infections in humans.
