Hi, Folks!
I just thought I'd post this to our group to let womeninbio subscribers in the Atlanta area know
about this lecture. Have any of you heard Emily Toth speak before?
Cheers,
Denise
p.s. Does anyone know if Karen had her baby yet?
From the Emory Report:
"Letters to Ms. Mentor: Should You be Pal, Peacock, or Czar?," a
lecture by Emily Toth on teaching, will be held Thursday, Sept. 23, at

Toth is professor of English and Women's Studies at Louisiana State
University, and her lecture is sponsored by the new Massee-Martin/NEH

who love them." She is also the "Ms. Mentor" columnist for The
Chronicle of Higher Education's career network and has written monthly
columns for the past year on such topics as "What to Do When You're

Kate Chopin and will lecture on "Rewriting Kate Chopin's Life: What We
See is What We Are" on Friday, Sept. 24, at 3 p.m. in 207 White Hall,
