Here is a marvelous, depression-lifting, campaign to join.
There is a nationwide effort in the US to "celebrate" Presidents Day,
February 19 (previously honoring birthdays of Geo. Washington and
Abraham Lincoln) by sending a message to the current resident of the
White House. Just make a donation, however small, to a pro choice
organization, and have a card sent to Bush saying: "'President' Bush,
a donation has been made in your name to Planned Parenthood (or other
organization of your choice)." You can do it by snail-mail, or with
a click and a credit card at www.plannedparenthood.org or
www.NARAL.org
Let the majority be heard! Don't mourn, organize!
On a similar note, for those of you needing a new palindrome for
teaching about restriction endonucleases: Dubya won? No way, bud!
