A plant systematist position is currently open at the USDA NRCS National
Plant Data Center, Baton Rouge, LA.  The responsibilities include working
with the PLANTS database and Web site <plants.usda.gov> and associated
applications; developing polyclave identification keys; expanding image
holdings on PLANTS; and liaisoning with the botanical community.  PLANTS
currently receives over 12 million hits a month and serves the federal,
state, and local governments; organizations; plus the public.

Position: Botanist (Plant Systematist), Permanent, Full-Time
Series 0430, GS-12/13 (beginning at $56,463 to $67,143.
Location: USDA NRCS National Plant Data Center, Baton Rouge, LA
