Dear Sirs,

I am working on an SGI R8000 running under Irix 6.1 with 64Mb RAM. The X-plor pgm
was installed on a former R4000. But it rans properly after copying
on the R8000.
Now I am trying to refine a model (number of freedom: 16125) against 2.8A
data (29832 refl.), I allocated 40000 refl in the *.inp file.
The pgm refuses to work, it says:

....
XRTEST: number of selected reflections 29823
 XRFILL: #scatt.= 4403 #anomalous= 0 #special pos.= 0 occupancies=1
XFFT: using grid [180,180,150] and sublattice [180(181),180(181), 30]
 %ALLHP-err: too much memory requested.
 Subroutine DIE called . Terminating

I think the grid is not to fine - is there a simple way to solve this problem, or
do we have to buy more memory?

Sincerely yours

Thomas Keitel
