IDEAL FTP (Software)

Simtel.Net, or any of their many "Mirror" sites is about the easiest
to access. They have a HUGE LIBRARY for both Windows and MS-DOS.
Their MS-DOS Page has a FILE, "SIMDOS-I.ZIP" and "SIMDOS-L.ZIP" which
you can download. Both of these files contain a complete LIST of ALL
their MS-Dos Software (Windows page has it's Windows LIST). The MS-
DOS Library is broken down into many categories (example: "FILEUTIL").
The LIST contains a one line description for every file. You can use
any type of text file viewer or editor and SEARCH for whatever you are
looking for (OFF LINE). NOTE: Remember to "note" the category the
file/s you are looking for is in, so you can go to that page
(category) when you return to that Site.

Simtel.Net is a NO-NONSENSE (no "glitter") BEAUTIFULLY STRUCTURED
FTP Site.

I went to other Software Sites (not many) and got discouraged
because those Sites do NOT have any LOGICAL STRUCTURE. They do NOT
have a File you can download, which is a LIST of Software and
descriptions.

I do NOT work for Simtel.Net. I WISH that other Software Sites
would look at Simtel.Net as a MODEL.
