BIOMOLECULAR NMR SPECTROSCOPIST

BIOPHYSICS LABORATORIES, SCHOOL OF BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES, UNIVERSITY OF
PORTSMOUTH, UK.

The University has been awarded funds from the Wellcome Trust /HEFCE
Infrastructure Initiative for the purchase of a 600 MHz NMR spectrometer
and we seek to recruit an NMR specialist to a tenured academic post in
the School. It is expected that the appointee will have experience in
solving macromolecular structures using high-field NMR and will bring
his/her own programme of work to add to existing in-house projects, many
of which involve protein/nucleic acid interactions. Experience in the
practicalities of obtaining high quality NMR spectra would be a
considerable advantage.

Appointment will be made at an appropriate point on the Lecturer, Senior
Lecturer, Principal Lecturer (or exceptionally) Readership Scale,
(£14,941-£34,593 p.a.) depending on the experience of the candidate.

Informal enquires can be made to Prof. Colyn Crane-Robinson (Tel.:
