Paul Adams <paul at laplace.csb.yale.edu> was nice enough to point out
that the changes in the X-PLOR source (obtained with grep -i MAXA *) were
insufficient. After changing according values in
$XPLOR/machine/unsupported/linux/prexplor.dim (your mileage may vary;
caution: comments there are not always accurate) and recompiling the
sources (I used fort77 since g77 ran into problems) got rid of the
abovementioned (see thread) hardwired constraints. Another thing to
mention: if you're using bash, you might have to adjust the shell
script syntax in ulogin.com to better source it.
Since the changes required were many, and haphazard, I hesitate to
release the actual change log. Roll your own, it's not too difficult.
