Though I didn't test extensively, the FFT library included with X-PLOR
3.8 is slightly faster than SGI's complib.sgimath (on an Power Challenge
R8000 running single processor). The difference may be the overhead of
calling a shared library.
SGI library may be better for the future since it (or its successor)
will be updated and optimized for the latest SGI architecture.
