Dear all,
The BioMagResBank (BMRB) is pleased to announce the start of its list
server and invites discussions on topics related to NMR and
structural biology. The list server is open to the public on a free
subscription basis and is not moderated. Our help desk, which can be
found on the BMRB homepage (http://bmrb.wisc.edu), remains available
for submitting those suggestions or questions to the BMRB that might
be unsuitable for a public forum.
Description of the BMRB
BMRB contains NMR assigned chemical shifts and other NMR
parameters (chemical shifts, J-couplings, relaxation rates, etc)
derived from proteins, peptides, and nucleic acids, along with data
describing the source of the molecule and the conditions used to
study it. The current databank contains over 400,000 unique chemical
shifts in more than 1600 entries.
How to Join
Just follow the directions at http://bmrb.wisc.edu/maillist. People
who have deposited data at the BMRB (or PDB) are particularly invited
to join the list server (you must subscribe, however, since this is
not done automatically).
Looking forward to hear from you,
Jurgen F. Doreleijers
