The Sound is a successful, full-time, music ministry that has been ministering since 1985. In the past, The Sound has traveled extensively across the United States up to 300 dates a year. However, in January 2001 the group began expanding its territory by dividing into area groups, singing primarily on Sundays. This will provide opportunity for individuals who feel called to the music industry, but scheduling has always been a problem. This opportunity allows one to keep a full-time job and travel with the music ministry of The Sound on Sundays. Each team will consist of three male vocalists and will travel at most 40 weekends out of the year. Travel will only be in the groups local area.
