This directory contains BOXSHADE 2.7
the following files are available: 


box_src.zip    These 3 are the source code archives. All contain the same
box_src.zoo    files, they are only compressed by three different methods.
box_src.tar.Z  You need them if you want to recompile BOXSHADE.
               If you have DOS/Turbo Pascal,
	       a VAX/VMS, AXP/VMS ore AXP/OSF1 system and a PASCAL compiler,
	       it is advantageous to recompile the sources. The executables
	       are statically linked and much too big.
               All source code packages also contain the necessary paramter
	       files and a short documentation

box_exe_vaxvms.zoo       These files contain the (statically linked) 
box_exe_axpvms.zoo       executables for various operating systems
box_exe_axposf1.tar.Z    together with the necessary paramter files
box_dos.zip              and a short documentation.

  BOXSHADE is a program for creating pretty output of
  mutiple aligned protein/DNA data.
