This file contains a Mac PICT drawing that explains how to make biosequence pictures with inverted, boxed text. It isn't an easy process. This was done with the Canvas version 3.5 application. I seem to recall that version 3.0 or earlier of Canvas doesn't work right with these instructions, but I might be mistaken. Also, I don't know if these apply to MacDraw, ClarisDraw, etc. I think they should, because the process involves creating a Mac Quickdraw graphic that allso maps into Postscript (for printer) in a way that preserves inverse text -- it is this last point, that quickdraw and postscript do inverse displays differently, that causes the hassles here. -- Don Gilbert, 20 Dec 94
